Ed helps businesses, nonprofits, and individuals intelligently avoid, resolve, or win legal disputes. Prior to forming Schroeder Law, Ed practiced business and nonprofit law, with an emphasis on litigation, and estate planning and estate litigation at one of Colorado’s largest legal partnerships and as a Partner at Bostrom Schroeder PC. His litigation practice includes estate and probate litigation, consumer protection act claims, construction defect litigation, employment litigation, breach of contract cases, insurance coverage and defense disputes, and real property disputes. In addition, he has significant experience representing churches and religious organizations' legal needs, including First Amendment litigation. Ed also provides pre-litigation risk management services and contract and business formation advice. Finally, Ed provides estate planning and administration and business succession planning for his clients.

Derek protects businesses, non-profits, individuals, and families. He provides courtroom representation for clients in commercial and criminal litigation, counsels with immigration solutions for businesses and individuals, and helps individuals and families secure their futures through estate and business succession planning. Before joining Schroeder Law, Derek worked in private practice and for the City of Denver. Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, Derek has also worked at the largest law firm in Argentina. He was honored to serve for two years at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Denver defending unaccompanied children in Immigration Court.
